Investing in your students, while they are still on campus, is crucial to your advancement mission. Research tells us that philanthropy is a learned behavior, and your students also have a lot to offer in engaging donors directly and authentically.

Jessica Elmore is Associate Director of Diversity Programs for the Kansas State University Alumni Association.
